How It Started
Our Story
Allen Misaghi didn't build Grand Design Build overnight. He built it the hard way, through relentless dedication, an uncompromising eye for quality, and a refusal to settle for anything less than exceptional.
What started as one man's pursuit of excellence grew into one of Toronto's most recognized names in construction and architectural development. Project by project. Client by client. Building by building.

Our Founder
Led by Allen Misaghi
Toronto is growing and we are partly responsible for it.
Grand Design Build has been working in Toronto since 2010, led by Allen Misaghi, who has 15+ years of experience in construction, including hotel builds for Hilton, Sheraton, St. Regis and Hotel X Toronto, a BMW Canada dealership, and walk-in and dental clinics across the GTA.
The company delivers home additions, full renovations, laneway and garden suites, and custom homes across Toronto. Grand Design Build has completed 250+ projects in Toronto.
As Allen puts it: "A design only survives construction if someone is accountable for protecting it the whole way through, not just building what's easiest or cheapest on site."
